1918 SUNBEAM SOLO ?MILITARY? MOTOR CYCLE

MAIN CHARACTERISTICS:Single cylinder side valve engine, three speed gearbox, all khaki colour scheme with final drive by belt which was a French Government stipulation. HISTORY:This machine was found in France in a derelict state and brought back to the UK. During restoration, the original brass plate bearing the French despatch rider?s regiment and number and village of origin was exposed; contact has since been made with the Mayor of the village. An important example of Sunbeams WW1 effort and one of only a handful still in existence.
