1927 CLYNO MOTOR CAR

MAIN CHARACTERISTICS:4-cylinder engine, 3-speed gearbox. HISTORY:During the 1920s Clyno manufactured a range of light cars at its Pelham Street, Wolverhampton factory and became the third largest British vehicle manufacturer. The aim was to produce a ?car for the masses? to rival Morris. Although at one time 600 cars/week were being made, very few have survived. This touring model ? cost ?175 ? is a good example of the Company?s product shortly before it succumbed to financial pressures in 1929.A rare survivor of Black Country vehicle engineering during its heyday.
