Orbit motor cycles were built from 1913-1924 by Orbit Motors Limited of Sedgley Street, Wolverhampton.This machine was in the possession of its previous owner for some thirty years. Found in a derelict state, it was restored over a number of years during which time a diligent search for genuine parts took the most time.This rare machine is believed to be the only complete, running Orbit in existence.Orbit Motors Limited was established by Wolverhampton entrepreneur Mr S Dorsett who went on to found the Diamond Motor Cycle Company, and the Omega Motor Cycle Company Limited in the Town.
