1929 AJS SOLO MOTOR CYCLE

MAIN CHARACTERISTICS:Side valve engine, three speed gearbox, drum brakes front and rear, Binks carburettor. HISTORY:This was the first year for AJS saddle tanks and the only year in which the colour scheme was changed from black to a magenta panelled tank. The machine is representative of the AJS version of the low cost everyday commuter bike.This machine was restored by Willenhall-based Horace Banks renowned in the Black Country for his love of the area?s engineering reputation and his own high quality restorations.
